The Nashville Early Music Festival is the brainchild of Francis Perry and Dustin Williams. During conversations during Dustin’s lute lessons with Francis, the two decided that Nashville needed a special weekend festival of early music. Exploring the possibilities with Mitzi Matlock, the idea grew wings with the involvement of Lipscomb University’s Music Department agreeing to host the event.
